In 2015 we evaluated different formulations of acrylic adhesives combined with various substrates for optimal long-term wear solutions for medical device fixation.
In a second study, we evaluated the most promising adhesive from our initial study against five altered formulations of the incumbent acrylic adhesive and various substrates. The study identified a long-wear adhesive for wearable medical device fixation lasting up to 16.5 days.
